My dream job would be to design for developing connections between (non-) humans, inspiring people to look beyond their bubbles and finding ways to respectfully cohabitate on earth with others. To do this by learning the perspectives from specific contexts, enabling more connected people to share their experiences with others. Realistically, I see myself working in a field related to social design and sustainability. This could be with (social) design studios , governmental organisations or NGOs and NPOs . With more experience and a further changing world, I hope to create a way of income that aligns best with my values.
My next steps are to explore further implementation of EcoSystem Investigation as freelancer (MaanBeeld) with my collaboration partners, while applying for governmental traineeships or starter jobs in above-mentioned organisations for more field experience.
I believe, that even within an old system, there is an opportunity to start doing something differently together and become a movement to change that system (prefigurative politics (Monticelli, 2021)).
